Christmas in July!

Hello everyone

Yes I've been extremely quiet over the last few weeks. I have been having a peek around Blogland but very quietly. Fibromyalgia is a funny condition, sometimes it's the pain that knocks you for six, sometimes its the fatigue....and boy have I been shattered I've just hovered looking at your fab creations. I'm having a lot of problems with my hands too...unfortunately the tremor in my right hand has deteriorated and my left hand has decided to join the club!!! Not good for a crafter at all lol. I had an appointment with my neurologist last week...the next step believe it or not is Botox....fortunately he's got a sense of humour so did laugh when I asked him to do my wrinkles while he's at it.

Anyway, you don't think all that will keep me from my fave time of the month....Today sees the start of a new challenge  over on the WHOOPSIEDAISY blog. The theme chosen for this month is 'CHRISTMAS IN JULY'. Your entry MUST include a Digital image or something off a CD. If unsure the rules are posted over on the challenge page here. The brilliant talented design team have created some fabulous cards to show how versatile Linnie's gorgeous designs are. If you look very carefully at the DT creations you will see they have some gorgeous Whoopsiedaisy watermarks on them. Sue, a member of the design team very generously designed and made these for us....aren't they just lovely?

Linnies digistamps and CDs are available to buy over on Etsy. Keep your eyes peeled as she has a brand new CD coming out any day now. The CDs include gorgeous backing papers, toppers and loads of lovely images (either ready coloured or black and white digistamps for you to colour yourself).

There is also a WhoopsiDaisy fans Facebook page...we'd love it if you'd pop over either just to have a look around or to show off your WhoopsiDaisy creations. Feel free to comment and 'like' or 'share' the page. Anyway onto my card for this month.

There's a lot of different elements to my card. The card base is actually double fronted as it has a snowflake acetate on the front of a mirror card base. The panel was made using  green mirror card and a piece of embossed card and then a Sue Wilson die cut was added with some ribbon. The wording was also from Sue Wilson but I trimmed the snowflakes off and used them separately. The Christmas tree die cut is a Memory Box one. Hopefully my card shows that the Whoopsiedaisy images will work with lots of different companies products although I think you'll all agree the star of the show is this gorgeous image. She was a ready coloured image that I printed onto white card and cut out using my ScanNCut. I added toms of stickles to her hat and coat along with the pearl buttons. The card was finished with green and white pearls.
Well that's me done for today...I'll try not to leave it so long next time...take care all X

I'd like to enter the filling challenges:
