Exciting news.....and WhoopsiDaisy Challenge - Bring on Summer

Hi everyone

I hope this finds you all well and enjoying the bit of sunshine we're having! This is quite a long post as I have something very exciting to share with you today. I've been itching to share it for a couple of weeks's the day I can finally blab my news, Today I officially become a member of the Design Team for WhoopsieDaisy Designs. Linnie's designs are some of the first I fell in love with when I started my crafting journey so as you can imagine I am very chuffed and honoured to be joining the other amazing ladies on the Design Team - some of them are new to me but some are already crafting buddies of mine.

Today sees the start of a new challenge  over on WHOOPSIDAISY. The theme chosen for this month is 'BRING ON SUMMER'. Your entry MUST include a Digital image or something off a CD. If unsure the rules are posted over on the challenge page here  I hope you'll pop over to see what the very talented Design Team have created. I can't believe how different everyone's designs are - they really show off the versatility of Linnie's designs. The prize for the winner of the challenge is a Whoopsiedaisy CD (winner pays any shipping fees).

Linnies digistamps and brand new CDs are available to buy over on Etsy. The CDs include gorgeous backing papers, toppers and loads of lovely images (either ready coloured or black and white digistamps for you to colour yourself).

There is also a WhoopsiDaisy fans Facebook page...we'd love it if you'd pop over either just to have a look around or to show off your WhoopsiDaisy creations. Feel free to comment and 'like' or 'share' the page.

My card has been made using an image and papers from the Cute Daisy May CD. It was very hard to choose an image as there was so much choice and they're all so gorgeous.  I printed off a ready coloured image and backed it onto black and white. The flowered backing paper is also off the CD - I used this for the bottom part of the card. This was backed onto black which really made it pop! I also die cut the bunting out with the paper - the die was a Sweet Dixie one.....definitely one of my favourite dies. Yellow bakers twine was threaded through this. The butterflies came from well loved dies too. The wording, which I stamped in black, is from a Clearly Besotted stamp set - this was backed onto black to tie in.  I then finished with some ribbon and little flowers from my stash...amazingly these were just perfect for this image. It's great that you can use the images with everything else you have in your stash.

I'd like to enter this card for the following challenges:

Dragon Dream Challenge - say it with flowers

Imagine That - Creative Playground challenge #5 - Tic Tac Toe. I chose the top row to play- Gems, sentiment and flowers

That's me done for today. Thanks for coming by...x
